Cape Tribbing: Unforgettable Must See
Unforgettable experience, a must do tour in Cairns
I arrived in Cairns last week and with no activities planned I was recommended a tour through a friend who said she had an amazing time on a recent trip to Cape Tribulation in the Daintrees with Trek North Tours. I am so grateful she recommended it as it is one of the best activities I have ever experienced.
I learnt so much from the knowledgeable tour guide who pointed out native flora and fauna along the way and answered any questions we had. My favourite part was the cruise down the Daintree River where we spotted a couple of crocs lurking along the river banks, it was lovely to see crocodiles out in the wild in their natural habitat.
After sitting back to enjoy a mouth watering lunch of native barramundi in the lush rainforest surroundings we checked out the Daintree Entomological mueseum comprising of Australias largest insect collection! What I found even more spectaculor was the vast array of butterflies at the Butterfly habitat/breeding centre (make sure to take your camera!). The birdlife along the tour was just phenomenal, if you weren’t a bird enthusiast before you will become one after this tour.
The beach at Cape Tribulation was also a definite must see, with beautiful clear waters and lush healthy rainforest spilling out to the waters edge. Every photo I took here could have been a postcard! I cannot recommend this tour enough, if your lucky enough to make it up to this beautiful corner of the world you would be silly not to take the Cape Tribulation tour of the Daintree rainforest with Trek North.
